The rich five wearing their uniforms
and showing their silver and modals.
the honorable carpenter and Dyer’s wives
want to be called madams.
The Haberdasher and Weaver’s wives
always wants to show their position;
even their mantle was carried
as a wonderful queen.
The carpet-maker as well as the five
showing his wealthy,
but surviving as well as the rest
showing wants what he thinks he is.
